The Evolution Story
"It's not just the origins of our food and the impact on the
environment that we are passionate about.
What excites us about Evolution is the fact that, like our menus,
ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible, supporting the
community and keeping carbon production to a minimum."

Evolution is a new ceramic body developed with the prime objective of reducing the carbon footprint created during manufacture. Evolution only requires one firing process, compared to the usual two or more in the production of ceramic hospitality tableware, significantly reducing the impact of production on the environment.
Innovation remains constant at Dudson, not only in methods of manufacture, but also in ongoing product development and the Dudson design and factory teams have worked closely with Endeka Ceramics Ltd. throughout the development of Evolution.

THE LOWEST CARBON EMISSIONS OF ANY CERAMIC HOSPITALITY TABLEWARE ... Carbon emissions produced in the manufacture of Evolution are 79% less than those produced in the manufacture of an equivalent porcelain product. (According to independent testing by Endeka Ceramics Ltd on kiln firing processes.) |

ONCE-FIRED TECHNOLOGY Evolution is produced using a 100% lead-free ThermECO glaze (a trademark of Endeka Ceramics Ltd.), and is manufactured using a once-fired technology to reduce the impact of production on the environment. |

BETTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT As with all Dudson ceramics, any unfired pieces that are broken or imperfect can be 100% recycled into manufacturing processes.
