Product Care

The following guidelines have been compiled to ensure you benefit from the maximum life span of your new Bugambilia purchase.  Please note that all items are intended for food service and display only, not for food preparation or food storage.

  • Avoid direct flames and direct contact with heating elements, as these will damage the surface of the product.  However the product may be used in warming ovens/hot counters up to a maximum temperature of 93⁰C/200⁰F.
  • Bugambilia coated aluminium is a soft metal.  Damage may occur if dropped or mishandled.
  • If left in or on the product for a long time, certain foods may discolour the surface.
  • Do not use knives to cut or serve food displayed in the product, as they will damage the surface.
  • Hygiene products containing iodine will discolour some colour coatings.
  • The majority of stains should be removed by normal dishwasher cleaning. However, if stains remain after washing, soak the item in a mild solution of soapy water and bleach, then put through the dishwasher again.
  • Discontinue use immediately if a fault occurs in the coating and contact your Dudson representative.
  • You may use nylon type scouring pads for cleaning but metal scourers will damage the surface.
  • Lighter colours are not recommended for use in a hot cabinet, as they may discolour.
