Hotelympia 2010
25 March 2010
With hundreds of exhibitors from the hospitality industry showcasing new products, and featuring demonstrations and competitions, Hotelympia 2010 at Excel London was full of ideas for visitors.
Launched at Hotelympia, and with the lowest carbon footprint of any ceramic hospitality tableware, Evolution proved to be one of the main talking points of the show.
As the industry becomes more concerned about sustainability and environmental issues, a ceramic product that is produced using 79%* less carbon than a porcelain equivalent was bound to attract attention.
We were also proud to support La Parade des Chefs once again, with a selection of ceramic, glass and cutlery pieces for the Dudson Restaurant. Culinary teams from the House of Commons, Sodexho, Lexington Catering, Westminster Kingsway College and the Combined Services presented lunch menus on Edge, a collection of elegantly shaped pieces in Dudson Fine China. Orbit stemware and Living Mirror cutlery were also supplied to complete the tabletop presentation.
In addition, the company was pleased to supply a number of chefs competing in the Salon Culinaire. In particular, we would like to congratulate Andy Langford, Chef/Manager for Charlton House Catering, who won the Ethnic Master Class using items from Dynasty and Chamonix Fine China ranges to showcase his menu.
