The company is pleased to support local charities and a cross-functional committee raises money throughout the year via various social functions, raffles and auctions. Monies raised are matched by the company.

Each year, three local charities voted for by the committee benefit from these activities and during the last ten years in excess of £130,000 has been raised from a combination of events and donations from the company. In 2000, during our bicentennial year, we raised a total of £40,000.

In addition, Dudson joins forces with local companies to stage an annual charity bonfire night. This event relies on the generosity and spirit of employees, who volunteer time and effort to make the evening a success.
